We welcome individuals from all backgrounds committed to supporting the care and well-being of older adults. Membership is open to our senior citizens, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and international supporters.

  • Regular Membership : Persons aged 65 years and above — one- time registration fee $100
  • Volunteers: Membership is free, with a one-time registration fee of $100
  • Healthcare Professionals: Licensed healthcare professionals — $200 per year
  • International Members : Supporters residing outside Trinidad and Tobago — US $25 per year

Membership in the Geriatric Society of Trinidad and Tobago (GSTT) provides opportunities for professional growth, learning, and collaboration in geriatric care while supporting the well-being of older adults. Members receive discounts on GSTT events and services, regular updates on activities and opportunities, and access to online learning resources for continuous development. It also offers valuable networking with healthcare professionals and experts, participation in special interest groups, and guidance on care service management. Membership Terms and Conditions
  1. Membership: By applying for membership, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Membership becomes effective upon approval by the Society and receipt of full payment.
  2. Membership Fees: Membership is valid from 1 January to 31 December. Annual fees are determined by membership category and may be revised. Membership benefits include Society communications, discounted event registration, and voting rights where applicable.
  3. Payment: Membership benefits begin only after full payment has been received.
  4. Cancellation and Refunds: The Society may cancel membership for non-payment or false information. Members may cancel within 10 working days of membership confirmation for a full refund. After this period, fees are non-refundable. Refund requests must be made in writing.
  5. Intellectual Property: All Society publications and materials remain the property of the Trinidad and Tobago Geriatrics Society and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
  6. Privacy: The Society collects and uses personal information for membership administration and communications in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  7. Communications: Members agree to receive Society communications by email, telephone, or mail and may update their communication preferences at any time.
  8. Photography: The Society may use photographs or videos taken at its events for educational and promotional purposes.
  9. Liability: The Society’s liability is limited to the membership fee paid for the current membership year, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
  10. General: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the Society’s rights.
